Emulating the man who gave his name to the street in which our office premises are situated: DR. PHIL. H.C. SIGMUND RIEFLER
Mechanic and inventor, born 09.08.1847 in Maria Rain/Allgäu, died 21.10.1912 in Munich. In 1877 he constructed a new compass system which established the reputation of his company throughout the world. His pendulum clocks were a milestone in the field of precision watch-making.
